This place was old time supper club. Super busy. The bread basket was wonderful. The soup was tasty. Not super creamy which I liked. The ribs were very good. My husbands filet had good seasoning but wasn't the best cut. I enjoyed the salmon, which was very tasty. We had a great evening but it won't be a must time stop every year.

There's a lot of great things to say about Mr. G's! First off, their food is fantastic! My favorite dish has to be the porkchops with baked potatoes! The chops are very juicy and tasty while the potatoes are soft and delicious. Second, they have an outside area where the kids can play on the swing, play horseshoes, ladderball or they could run around and play with their siblings like I do. The service is great and I like the old school decor. This is a great resturant overall!

Ever wonder what Wisconsin is all about? This is a perfect example of a simple, laid back supper club where the owners work behind the bar and in the kitchen. It's a no rush atmosphere which I miss often in the city. It's a place where you sit at the bar for some old fashions, wait for your table, or until you're hungry enough to sit down (just relax) and have one of the best, home cooked Wisconsin meals you could ask for. My mouth is watering thinking about that pan-fried perch. This supper club is nothing fancy, or flashy, but that's what I seek out when I'm on vacation and head up north -- where time stops and it's all about good times, food and friends. I could go on and on, because I've never had a bad experience or been disappointed in all my times eating there.

Mr. G's is a great place to get amazing food in the Door Peninsula. It is not flashy. The decor is a bit old. However, never been disappointed. There are places in Door County that will impress people if you say you have been there but their food is not as good as Mr. G's. The tiki bar is a great place to relax before eating the amazing PRIME RIB, RIBS, or the sinful PAN FRIED PERCH!

It seems I am always going to the same places is Door County. We took a chance trying someplace new for us and found Mr G's to be as good as any other Door County Supper Club if not better. The tenderloin fillet I had was very flavorful and did no require any additional sauces. The portions were also a nice size so we did not feel overstuffed after dinner.

Can't believe I'm the first to review.... Mr. G's is my favorite supper club in DC. I love the old school decour and the soup/salad bar are great. The whitefish is really good and I love the hanging out at the bar. Always a good group of people there. I haven't had the chance to check out the tiki bar in the back, but have heard great things.

Had a great meal here the other day. Had the ribs and not a piece of meat was left. I finished a whole rack! Great little supper club feel. While we were waiting for our table, we hung out at the tiki bar next to the creek and had a drink. Looks like they are doing kayak tours out of the creek and around the corner at cave point With a company called Door county kayak tours. Might have to come back and check that out. Looks like a gorgeous creek. All and all, great service and lips smacking good ribs! Finished up the meal with another brandy ol fashioned and went home happy.

I really wanted to try a classic Wisconsin supper club for the first time and drove across the peninsula to give this one a whirl. I think it's a really great place. My wife had the filet oscar special. It was advertised to be an 8oz steak, but I feel it was substantially larger. She said it was one of the finer meals she's ever had. I had the lake perch dinner and thought it was perfect Two entrees with soup, a really good dinner salad and 3 cocktails was $60. Hard to beat
